After having a marvelous evening and energising breakfast, it was time to meet my friend Yasemin who decided to join me for 2 days. We met at the Pyramide du Louvre and started our endless walk.
Paris is a magical city and you can walk around for hours without getting bored. Paris also has the best metro system but there is no point going underground when there are lots of things to see on the surface.
After walking 15.000 KM and taking 2.000 pictures, we had lunch at an Italian restaurant. I know that going to an Italian restaurant when you are in Paris does not make sense at all but the rules change when you are starving.
We were trying to decide what to do for the night when Nico invited me to his fathers’ terrace to enjoy a glass of wine. It was very kind of him to do such a thing and it was even kinder when he invited Yasemin as well.
When he said terrace, I did not know he meant “the terrace with view of Sacré-Cœur and where you can enjoy best sunsets of Paris”. But it turned out to be that way. We cancelled all our plans with Yasemin and decided to stay inside. This was beyond our expectations and was one of the most random joys you could ever have.
We were in Paris, drinking rosé with best French cheese on the side. Life was so Parisienne, life was good.
